Our Favourite Local Experiences

We have this gem right in our back (or front if we’re being specific) yard at the cottage. You have to cross over a little portion of this 435km tip-to-tip trail system to get to our little piece of paradise.
It was once the railway that spanned across the island, now turned recreational trail offering incredible scenic views for walking and biking.
Check out the map to see where you might want to hop on and explore!

An east coast ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) is so much fun. Live music, stories and don’t forget the dessert!
Often times they’re held in a local community centre and funds go towards maintenance of the building.
Our favourite so far is the Stanley Bridge Hall Ceilidhs but you’ll see roadside signs for local shows along your travels
Check out the Stanley Bridge Hall summer lineup @ 4897 St Marys Rd, Stanley Bridge

If you’re interested in deep sea fishing, we’d recommend Graham’s. It was recommended to us on our first visit to PEI and it did not disappoint.
A family run business out of Stanley Bridge Wharf, we had the best time catching Mackerel and then using that to catch Cod! You even get to take home your fresh catch!
