A family of four with two young children and a dog on a sandy beach with ocean waves in the background under a partly cloudy blue sky.

Kindred Collection was created from a love of family, connection, and the places that bring people together.

The word kin represents family — and that has always been at the heart of our connection to Prince Edward Island. Our first visits to PEI were as a couple, exploring the Island’s beaches, coastal roads, and quiet corners together. We quickly fell in love with its beauty, its slower pace, and the feeling that life just moves a little differently here. We often said that one day, we would find a little piece of the Island to call our own.

When that opportunity came, we knew it was something special.

Over the years, PEI has become a place where our family has grown and where memories have been made. Now, we’re excited to share that experience with our children, our extended family, and with guests who are looking for a place to reconnect, slow down, and create their own Island memories.

Kindred Collection represents that idea — a family collaboration, a shared dream, and a place built with care for others to enjoy too.

Our Story

behind the cottage

The Ever Home was inspired by the kind of places we find ourselves returning to year after year.

The places where mornings start slow, sandy shoes gather by the door, dinner stretches a little longer than planned, and the best moments are often the simplest ones.

When creating this home, we wanted to capture what we love most about Prince Edward Island: its beautiful coastline, its slower pace, and the way it encourages people to be present with one another. Every space has been thoughtfully designed with gathering in mind — from shared meals in the kitchen, to quiet mornings on the porch overlooking St. Peter’s Bay, to evenings spent around the fire.

We named it The Ever Home because some places stay with us long after we’ve left them. They become part of our story — a place we remember, return to, and carry with us.

Whether you’re here for a week of adventure or a few days of rest, we hope The Ever Home feels welcoming, comfortable, and familiar. The kind of place that feels like it has always been waiting for you — and stays with you long after your stay has ended.
